Barry Bonds ripped 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI as the Santa Fe Trailer Bitches
beat the Dyersville Jurassics by a score of 10 to 8.
Bonds provided much of the offense. He delivered a single in the 1st inning,
belted a three-run homer in the 2nd inning and blasted a solo shot (his 32nd
of the season) in the 7th inning. Dyersville made it exciting in the 9th,
but they were unable to push the needed runs across.
Ryan Drese(6-9) got the win allowing 4 runs in 8 innings. Jorge Sosa(0-4) was
tagged with the loss. 'I had good swings today,' Bonds said, 'Everything
felt right'.
